45 women from the Women in Jazz Organization Mentors Program “come together” (aka record parts/videos separately and get mashed together) to record Yu Nishiyama’s and my arrangement of “Alone Together” during this quarantine period. In addition to co-writing the arrangement, I’m in the little conducting box!

Conducting with the Meetinghouse Jazz Orchestra for their annual Martin Luther King Jr. concert to benefit the homeless shelter at the Friends Seminary. All proceeds benefit the shelter! Performing works by myself, Meg Okura, and Todd Anderson.

The Erica Seguine/Shan Baker Orchestra returns to the Jazz Gallery! Sets at 7:30pm and 9:30pm. The Jazz Gallery is on the 5th floor of 1160 Broadway.

Conducting with the D.O.M.E. Experience for their final performance as part of their year-long residency at the Bronx Museum of the Arts. This ensemble is founded/led by two amazing musicians and composers, ArcoIris Sandoval and Mimi Jones, and their musical explores themes of social justice and the environment. On top of a mini studio orchestra ensemble (small string section plus horn section plus rhythm section), they incorporate visual media as well as choreography! A show not to be missed.
